This IFD440 was installed and operating normally in N9299P, a 1997 Piper PA-46-350P JetProp, immediately prior to removal during a complete Garmin TXi / GTN Xi / GFC 600 avionics upgrade.

The unit was removed because of the avionics upgrade, not because of any known problem with the IFD440.

It was functioning normally when removed.
