Current Price: 100.00 USD

This is a military headset-microphone, not consumer headphones. The label identifies them as part number EM-001-AP, serial 12635, made by Active Headsets, Inc. The federal item name is headset-microphone: dual earphones on an adjustable headband, with a boom microphone attached to the headband and a plug connector. Specs on the NSN record are about 300 ohms nominal per earphone and about 1 kilohm microphone impedance.

They are cataloged for use with the MRAP Cougar family (end-item codes KUZ, KUV, KUY, KUX). That means vehicle crew communications — radio or intercom in a noisy armored vehicle — not music listening. It is being sold as photographed.
