Description

The Ameri-King AK-350 Altitude Encoder is a solid-state pressure altitude digitizer designed to provide encoded altitude information to Mode C transponders and compatible avionics systems. The unit converts static pressure from the aircraft pitot-static system into digital altitude data transmitted to the transponder for ATC radar identification and altitude reporting.

The AK-350 uses an internal solid-state pressure transducer to provide reliable altitude reporting accuracy and stable performance across a wide operating altitude range. The encoder is commonly installed in general aviation aircraft panels or avionics bays and interfaces directly with most standard Mode C transponders.

Designed for 14V or 28V electrical systems, the unit is suitable for installation in both pressurized and non-pressurized aircraft compartments.

Commonly installed in aircraft such as Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft and experimental aircraft equipped with Mode C transponders.
