It completed a full factory overhaul in September 2025 and was recently removed from a Cirrus SR22 G3.
The Avidyne Flight Max Entegra Primary Flight Display is a high-quality avionics product manufactured in the United States designed for compatability with various aircraft and avionics systems. This PFD does not come with a warranty, however, it is a fast, certified swap solution for a grounded Avidyne equipped Cirrus SR22 / SR20. Considering long repair turn around times and a higher flat rate repair cost while not incurring two way shipping costs, makes this a viable quick solution to extended aircraft grounding.
Unit Highlights:

  • Flawless glass, bench-tested with only 50 flight hours since overhaul.
Unit History: This PFD was overhauled and refurbished by Avidyne’s sub contractor, Extant, in September 2025. It was shipped back to Avidyne 14 October 2025 and installed in a Cirrus SR22 in October 2025 by a FAA certified repair station under 14 CFR Part 145. The PFD operated normally with no discrepancies noted. It was removed in June 2026 after its last flight where the SR22 began a complete panel upgrade at another FAA avionics repair station.

Additional Items: The Avidyne PFD Pilot’s Guide and the Cirrus Pilots Operation Handbook (POH) inserts are included. Also provided, are the Avidyne and Extant shipping documents, a failure analysis report, two test data sheets and the FAA Form 8130-3 Authorized Release Certificate (dtd 27 Sep/2025). These documents were shipped with the PFD from Avidyne document the repairs and provide a complete chain of custody from Avidyne.
