The Sandia STX 165R Remote Mount Aircraft Mode C Transponder is a high-quality aviation part designed for aircraft.
Its solid-state design provides 200 watts nominal output while transmitting at 1090 MHz with no warm-up time.
The STX 165R will accept either Gilham Gray Code or RS-232 altitude input for Mode C operation.
It can be mounted either vertically or horizontally.
