This special tool, part number R5066, was made for North American Aviation WWII Aircraft. It is 1/2” thick, weighs almost 2 pounds and is a Very Heavy Duty 2-1/2” Open End Wrench.  It works on the landing gear “Pivot Pin Nut” (see illustration photo highlighted in yellow) on the North American Aviation WWII AT-6 SNJ and Harvard aircraft as well as other warbirds which require this size wrench.
