This is a simulator-configured HSI instrument featuring:
• Heading bug
• Course selector with digital course display
• Glideslope indicator
• NAV flag indicators
• Dual control knobs (HDG / CRS)
Rear housing is clearly marked:
“For Use on Ground Trainers Only – Do Not Remove for Use on Operational Aircraft”

• Removed from operational simulator
• Not tested since removal
