Aircraft Tool Supply P-Lead Adapter – P/N 8766

This genuine Aircraft Tool Supply (ATS) P-Lead Adapter is used during aircraft magneto timing procedures. The adapter temporarily replaces the magneto P-Lead connection and provides a terminal for connecting timing equipment leads.

These adapters allow aviation technicians to safely attach timing equipment while adjusting magneto ignition timing.

This model is designed for Bendix S20C and S600 magnetos.

To use the adapter, the existing P-Lead is removed from the magneto and the adapter is installed finger-tight in the magneto P-Lead port. Timing device leads are then clipped onto the exposed adapter stem to perform magneto timing.

After timing procedures are completed, the adapters are removed and the original P-Lead wires are reinstalled according to the manufacturer's specifications.

Safety Note

When P-Leads are disconnected, magnetos can remain electrically active. Follow proper aircraft maintenance procedures when performing magneto timing.
