This genuine Aircraft Tool Supply (ATS) P-Lead Adapter is designed for use during aircraft magneto timing procedures. The adapter temporarily replaces the P-Lead connection on Bendix magnetos to allow timing equipment leads to be safely attached.

The adapter is threaded into the magneto P-Lead port and provides an exposed stem for timer lead connection, allowing technicians to accurately perform magneto timing adjustments.

These adapters are commonly used by aviation mechanics during maintenance and inspection procedures involving Bendix magnetos.

Included are two P-Lead adapters as shown in the photos.

Installation is simple: remove the P-Lead from the magneto, install the adapter finger-tight, and connect the timing device leads to the exposed adapter stem.

After timing is completed, remove the adapters and reinstall the P-Leads according to the manufacturer’s specifications.

Important: Magnetos can remain electrically active when P-Leads are disconnected. Follow proper safety procedures when performing magneto timing.
