Removed from my 1973 Cessna 172M during a recent avionics up grade.
I went from a 1980s look to a 2000s cockpit. But it's all I'll ever need.
I'm not sure how many times I ever turned this unit on in the nine years it was installed'
It can't have been many, but it seemed to work correctly.
It is the 14 volt version, not the 28 volt one.
The serial number is 23120.
I sold this unit last month to a professional avionics shop.
They tested the unit, and returned it.
The test report stated.
Com RX/TX; 'Good'.
Nav RX; 'Good'
Display is failing.
Missing segments, and loses numbers under low light conditions.
VOR/LOC converter output inoperative.
Like I said, I rarely ever turned the unit on in all the years it was installed.
It originally sold it for $475.
Now with a full report.
It's offered at $250.
