Original Lockheed Service Equipment aircraft maintenance fixture manufactured for the Lockheed F-94 Starfire interceptor program. This rare Cold War-era fuselage servicing tool retains its original Lockheed Aircraft Corp. Burbank, California identification plate and is marked for F-94 application use.

The plate identifies the piece as a “SPREADER AFT FUSE,” indicating intended use for aft fuselage maintenance, structural servicing, alignment, or support operations associated with the F-94 airframe. Lockheed factory identification plate present.

The Lockheed F-94 Starfire was one of the USAF’s earliest operational all-weather jet interceptors and an important Korean War / early Cold War aircraft derived from the T-33/F-80 airframe family. Original aircraft-specific Lockheed ground support equipment from the F-94 program is exceptionally scarce today.
