Vintage aircraft exhaust temperature indicator manufactured by Weston Instruments, identified as Type AN-5790-6. This gauge measures exhaust gas temperature (EGT) using a thermocouple system, with the dial calibrated in degrees Fahrenheit multiplied by 100. The scale ranges from low to high operating temperatures, with a red caution band indicating elevated exhaust conditions. This instrument was used in various World War II–era military aircraft, including platforms such as the P-51 and B-17, and was panel-mounted in the cockpit for engine monitoring. The gauge features a black metal case, round glass lens, and four-corner mounting flange. Condition is Good (G) with visible surface wear, paint loss, dust, and age-related patina from prior service use. The lens is intact, and the needle is present. The unit has not been tested and is sold as untested for restoration, display, or historical aviation collection.
