The Telex Stratus 50-D Active Noise Reduction Aviation Headset is a top-of-the-line pilot headset designed for maximum comfort and clarity during flights. With its advanced noise reduction technology, this headset ensures that pilots can always hear important aircraft information while keeping distractions to a minimum. 

The Telex Stratus 50D Headset offers Smart Sense™ DSP technology for more noise reduction than any other headset available. Smart Sense™ digital signal processing technology (DSP) is available only from Telex.

Features SmartSense active noise reduction technology based on digital signal processing (DSP). Telex's ComfortCam system allows you to fine tune headband tension and eliminate clamping. Headband construction distributes weight evenly for a perfect fit, and thick foam headband pads and redesigned ear cushions are durable and soft as lambskin. The Stratus 50 Digital is powered by the aircraft electrical panel (with lighter adapter; included) or four AA batteries. The built in audio interface allows you to connect both cell phone and MP3 player and mute both devices with on easy on/off switch. Includes deluxe carrying case. 5 year warranty.

This technology identifies unique frequencies in each aircraft and adjusts accordingly to cancel out those specific frequencies.
