This was removed in working condition from NASA's Pik-20E motor glider.
It appears to be in very good condition. The glider was stored in an enclosed trailer and rarely flown, so the cockpit rarely saw the light of day. It was primarily flown by famed NASA test pilot Einar Enevoldson.
I acquired the aircraft at a government auction and the only reason that I removed this altimeter is that I needed a 35,000ft model for high-altitude wave soaring. However, this is a nice clean altimeter for most piston aircraft.
