The Garmin GDL 50 Portable ADS-B Receiver is a great option for getting ADSB “In” data while in flight. I have had this unit for a couple of years, but it has less than 30 hours of flight time. It is in excellent “like new” condition. Stored inside at home when not in use. Please note that this unit does NOT have the Sirius inflight weather.


I have been using it with Garmin Pilot on my iPad and it acquires the signals very quickly, even on the ground.


The only reason I am selling it is that we are going to be doing more cross country flying so I wanted to add weather capabilities and for that needed the GDL 52.
