This 14/28-volt Garmin 430W just removed from our R182 when we upgraded to a GTN-750. This radio was serviced by Garmin in July 2014 and upgraded from 430 to 430W, and serviced again in June 2025 to due to the push buttons getting hard to operate. The buttons should be good for years now.
Bench checked and 8130 created after removal. Pictures show indicator during bench check just to verify operation. In our plane the 430 drove an HSI. The pictured indicator is NOT included with this radio.
Display is in excellent condition. Com radio works great. Will ship one terrain and two nav data cards and a Garmin data card writer with this unit. Also included in package will be all the paperwork - original Garmin Pilots Guide, Quick Reference Guide, Display Interfaces Guide, Optional Display guide, and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA). Can also supply a Jeppesen data card writer on request, though I will have to look for that. No used since we switched to a Garmin data base subscription.
This radio works great - we had it wired to multiple interfaces, including a link to a GPSMAP 696, so the 430 transferred flight plans to the 696, Shadin Fuel Flow, so the MiniFlo was able to indicate fuel required to destination, and heading/airspeed information from a GI-275. That last allows the 430 to display actual wind vector.
