Excellent cosmetic condition 500DCF (14) Horizon Reference Indicator (HRI) aircraft gyro instrument.

• Part Number: 500DCF (14) • Serial Number: 3858 • Input: 14 VDC • Includes original FAA maintenance release/overhaul tag from Executive Instruments, Inc. dated 11-4-1982.

This instrument was acquired from a retired pilot who stated it was removed from a working aircraft after retirement. I do not have the equipment required to bench test or certify this unit, so it is being sold as untested and should be inspected and certified by a qualified avionics technician prior to installation or flight use.

The manual controls have been checked and operate smoothly. The Quick Erect ("Pull for Quick Erect") function moves freely, and the adjustment knob operates properly. The face, glass, markings, and housing are in excellent cosmetic condition for its age with only light signs of normal handling. The orange overhaul tag on the top is peeling away as shown.
