N186JF SAL P51D 2/3 scale experimental Mustang Airplane 

V8 Chevy engine aircraft conversion 

It’s a one seater. Could maybe be made into a 2.

It’s Fully aerobatic with inverted system +10 -10

This airplane was disassembled for shipping. Just do the annual inspection, put the wing on and go fly. She has a V8 5.7 350HO Chevy 345hp engine With a Blackhawk Gearbox, Holley 4 barrel carb and Hamilton standard 4 blade Prop. The belly radiator is functional. Escort 2 radio Comm/vor/Loc/Nav. Terra 250 transponder. No adsb. Has Electric gear and Flaps. Currently has auxiliary fuel tank behind the seat that could possibly be removed and converted into a second passenger seat. The airplane is naturally nose heavy so a rear fuel cell was added. For all the 2 seaters I’ve flown in they are very very tight cub like in back with 170lb limit. Front pilot has room for up to 6’7” tall and 240lb person will fit. Seat is easily adjustable. Has Lots of headroom room plenty for a helmet if you want to wear one. 

This is an All wood construction airplane. The fuse and wing is all wood, fiberglassed, based and clear coat painted. Bullet holes are just stickers that can be removed everything else is painted on. 

It Only has 168hrs total time on the airframe, engine and prop. 

The Last annual expired in Aug 2025 when we disassembled it for shipping. 

I have current registration & airworthiness certificate, operating limitations, weight and balance and checklists. No damage history. I only have the annual maintenance logs for the last 5 years previous maintenance logs were lost. 

Airplane is Located in Valdosta Georgia on the Florida border right off i75. 

It’s ready to be loaded and shipped anywhere.

I’d sell the new trailer it’s on for additional 5k but you will need another trailer to move the wing they won’t both fit on that trailer together. Otherwise you need a 40’ flatbed to move both in one trip. I have a fork lift on site to load it.
