Avidyne EX5000 PFD and MFD removed from a Cirrus SR22 for an upgrade. Both units are in very good condition.

If you want to do a WAAS upgrade and or DFC90 upgrade on your Cirrus, you need to send your PFD and MFD to Avidyne. They do software upgrades for WAAS and hardware upgrades for DFC90 autopilot. This is an expensive and time consuming process. It could take 45 days to get the units back. Sometimes they send other used units as a replacement. (One of my airplanes, when the PFD was sent to do the upgrade, the unit I got sent back had scratches on the screen. Considering the time to send it back I had to keep the unit. Another time, the airplane was waiting for them to get back to the avionics shop and it went out of annual.)  

Best way to avoid this extra cost and time is to replace with already upgraded units. They are just plug in units with no need for rewiring. 

These EX5000 had both the WAAS and DFC90 modifications done. Both in very good cosmetic and working condition. It has an upgraded software version as well (displays additional information in both PFD and MFD). PFD is: 530-00214-002 Rev 06 R8.0.6 MFD is: 530-00201-100 Rev 01 Release 8.1.1
