ATC transponder S/N:  066-1062-01, includes  Tray. 

 KT78A  transponder is the same as KT76A .Drop in replacement. If you have KT78 or KT76. You would need to either use the,tray provided or reconfigure pins in.your tray.
 

This unit was removed in Ocotber 2019 for upgrade to ADSB compliant transponder with built-in WAAS unit . It had been successfully in operation prior to removal.. It was tested in August 2019 as part of 24 month  test, found in great working condition. Test results available if interested. It was certified to 20,000 feet.


For those who opted to go the economical route of keeping your King trasponder and using alternative tail or wing beacon(Uavionics)  you will need an spare transponder, because soon they will not be available. Here is your chance to have a working unit as spare at very reasonable price. Check other ads.  The face plate is a little bit faded in color which can be painted or replaced.
