A built-in converter rounds out the main functions of the high-quality KI 204 VOR/LOC/glideslope radio navigation indicator. It features left-to-right meter movement, as opposed to pendulum, making the indicator easy to read. Because the needle remains vertical throughout its range of travel, the pilot can better determine the degree of correction needed to stay on course. It also includes a to-from indicator, both VOR/LOC and glideslope warning flag, and an omnibearing selector (OBS). Chose the optional course datum synchro to link the KI 204 to a compass system such as the KCS 55A. This option saves the pilot from continually manually adjusting the degree of correction.
Comes internally lit with a glass lens and a grey or black metal bezel.
