I used this GPS in my 172 a couple years ago and then I upgraded to the 396. The GPS runs off of 6 AA batteries. It comes with the Garmin antenna you can suction cup the the windshield. The GPS works great. Just turn it on and your ready to go.
I'll get some batteries for it so I can upload a picture with it turned on.
