The IND-350A The is same as the GI-102A without the internal status light. In most ALL cases the installation is IFR certifiable without internal status light.    

The IND-350A is the updated, more rugged GPS/VOR/LOC Indicator from the well-regarded Collins Microline series. The IND-350A uses a rectilinear meter movement, instead of pendulum, which makes it easier to read. The needle remains vertical throughout its range of travel, which helps the pilot to better determine the degree of correction needed to stay on course.

This indicator does not contain a VOR/LOC Converter, which permits its use with a GPS. The IND-350A, together with an Annunciator Control Unit (ACU), can be used to meet the FAA requirements for an IFR GPS installation.

The Collins IND-350A does not contain an internal VOR/LOC Converter, to be used with NAV equipment that does include this converter, such as: IFR GPS systems 

Note: Avoid the IND-350 and 351 these are have plastic frame and cannot be repaired even if they still work (not likely).  If you must buy a non 'A' see if the needles are well centered and the unit has a free return policy offered.
