This special tool, p/n: T54 (97-73093), is made to install and remove AN3106 electrical plugs as you can see in the illustration in the "North American Aviation Special Tools Catalog" (page 9). Many people struggle using regular pliers and end up damaging those electrical plugs. This special tool is an original WWII era item in new surplus condition.
