Was working perfect when removed for upgrade. Bench tested and guaranteed for 90 days. This small and lightweight transceiver offers 760 channels and a built-in basic Intercom.
It is ideal for installation in gliders, motor gliders and small aircraft due to its low power requirement and 2 1/4 inch round panel cutout.
Included in the price is a complete wiring harness with connector, 1 sets of jacks and PTT for pilot & 1 sets of jacks and PTT for Copilot, panel mount toggle switch for intercom. This very complete setup is truly "plug&play" all you need to do is to connect to a breaker and ground and plug in the antenna cable. This will be the easiest radio installation you ever did.
The equipment has an output of 5-7 Watts carrier (16 W PEP). A standby frequency and 99 memories can be easily programmed and recalled. The AR 4201 has an intercom, panel-lighting, voltage indicator, an AF-input as well as an automatic test-routine as standard functions.
