This GDL 88 was removed from a Cessna A185F Skywagon that underwent a major avionics and instrument panel upgrade. The owner of these items requested I help him sell the removed serviceable items from his airplane. See my other auctions for the S-Tec 55X autopilot, E.I. It was removed in a reported serviceable condition. However, there are no guarantees as to the accuracy or serviceability of this item. Therefore it is priced accordingly and will sell to the highest offer. If there was any damage or known discrepancies, they would be identified and described in the auction listing. GDL 88, rack and rear connector as shown in pictures are included with auction. Retail cost for a new GDL 88 like this is over $4k.

I am selling this item as is. At the least it should be considered as a repairable core, but with the high probability that there are zero defects and it is fully functional. I am legally unable to officially bench test this item and provide a serviceable tag. I can only go off of the information provided to me by the previous owner and the avionics technician that removed the item. If there were any known defects or any doubt as to the serviceability of the item, I would have stated them and have them apparent in the listing pictures, or I would not list the item and have properly disposed of it.

I'm not trying to hide anything or take advantage of anyone. My intent is to provide serviceable used items at an extremely discounted price to the general aviation consumer. All of the used parts I have sold so far have gone for 40%-95% below retail prices. I have had zero complaints about my other listings, the function of sold equipment, serviceability of said items or issues with shipping.

Free local pickup. I try to process items for shipping immediately. I almost always ship items within 24 hours of receipt of payment. However, there is a very unlikely chance it could ship up to 3 days after receipt of payment if I am out of town traveling for work.
