This auction includes GTX 327 transponder, mounting rack, mounting rack rear backplate and 25 pin rear connector. It does not include the coax connector adapter that is mounted in the mounting rack rear backplate. See pictures.
This item was removed from an aircraft that underwent a major avionics and instrument panel upgrade. It was removed in a reported serviceable condition. I did power it up, as can be seen in the picture, and the display, backlighting and transponder appear to function properly. However, there are no guarantees as to the accuracy or serviceability of this item. Therefore it is priced accordingly and will sell to the highest bidder. If there was any damage or known discrepancies, they would be identified and listed in the auction listing.
I am selling this item as is. At the least it should be considered as a repairable core, but with the high probability that there are zero defects and it is fully functional. I am unable to bench test this item and can only go off of the information provided to me by the avionics technician that removed the item. If there was any known defects or any doubt as to the serviceability of the item, I would have stated them and have them apparent in the listing pictures, or I would not list the item and have properly disposed of it.
I'm not trying to hide anything or take advantage of anyone. My intent is to provide serviceable used items at an extremely discounted price to the general aviation consumer. All of the used parts I have sold so far have gone for 40%-90% below retail prices. I also have had zero complaints about the listings, function of equipment, serviceability of said items, or issues with shipping.
