FUNCTION
This digital altimeter senses atmospheric
pressure changes, displays altitude with high
accuracy, and generates an altitude reporting
signal. The altimeter is designed specifically for
aircraft that do not require static pressure
source correction.
A knob on the front of the altimeter provides
the means for setting barometric pressure. By
loosening the zero set locking screw the same
knob is used to re-zero either the altimeter or
encoder.
