This is a GE Aviation DAU (Data Acquisition Unit) control recorder for military helicopters, part number 29328203 CAGE 35351, and military NSN 6695-01-325-3391. According to the information on the NSN, this is a current production military item associated with / applicable to the C8 OH-58D KIOWA.
This item was green tagged by the military when received, which should indicate an item in good working condition. However we have no means to test this item, so we are offering it as used in "as-is" condition. The unit does have small dents / marks and evidence of previous use.
The tag on the item showed a military price of over $40,000.
I was unable to ascertain whether or not this item is ITAR controlled.... some sources say yes and others say no. I will be erring on the side of caution and will not ship this internationally..... US buyers only.
