This is a new old stock item manufactured in 1968-1969 for use in the Apollo program Reaction Control System.
The Reaction Control System (RCS) contained many parts regulating the control of the lunar module and was qualified for flight operation from Apollo 5 in Jan. 1968 thru and including Apollo 11.
This part was manufactured by the Lear Siegler corp. in 1968-1969 period.
It is a helium test point disconnect coupling, used in regulating the pressure and flow of helium thru the RCS.
It is original, unblemished with its original ID tag.
