Can be used in a flight simulator by sending NMEA GPS data to it over the RS-232 interface
Original lithium battery died (they only last about 3 years) and it would return the "Clock Failed".
Replaced the battery with a lithium coin cell, device now boots up.
Comes with mounting tray and connector
