You are bidding on a vintage master indicator gyro flux gate compass made by Bendix Eclipse Pioneer. I have no idea where this came from or what it came off of. I have had it on my memorabilia shelf for years. As you can tell by the pictures, it is very clean and not abused. There is a bit of paint flaking in the area of the electrical connections. You can see that the last overhaul/functional check date was 06/04/1963. If you want a cool decoration, this is it. Might be used on an aircraft but no papers nor do I know if it works or can be used. The thing measures about 6 1/4" across the face (total diameter) and about 8" long. It fits a 5 1/8" panel hole.
