This Cardinal RG was donated to us in June 2015 and ferried to our airport, KSUS (Chesterfield, MO). That was the last time it was flown. The last time the airplane was started was in June 2017. The battery was removed at that time, in order to preclude corrosion issues. Because of the extensive work required to return this aircraft to airworthy condition, and our limited volunteer maintenance staff available, we are selling this Cardinal RG “As Is, Where Is” without a battery and with no warranties of any kind.

In Motion Damage History: None Known

Storage Damage: Pilot’s door appears to have blown open during windstorm and overstressed/damaged door hinges (see detailed pictures of damage). Door doesn’t close securely.

Paint and interior are in Poor condition.

The following information is added so that all bidders have the same information that was requested by one individual.

The left hand door hinge issue is detailed in the listing. We have not conducted an inspection on the aircraft to determine other issues. General facts that led us to believe there would be extensive work required to complete an annual inspection are:
  • Last annual inspection was completed 4.5 years ago
  • Aircraft last flown 3.5 years ago
  •  Aircraft hasn't been started for 1.5 years
  • Poor exterior and interior appearance.
