Selling my Stratus 1 WAAS GPS receiver, I joined a flying club where the airplane has ADS-B and WAAS GPS (Garmin 530 and GTX345)
I enjoyed this powerful tool for a three years of cross country, IFR training and IFR flights. When used with my iPad and Foreflight Pro subscription I had an independent battery operated system in any airplane I flew. This was great for consistent situational awareness regardless of the airplane I was in.

I take good care of all my stuff. Some scratches on the top of the unit are from being placed in my flight bag after a flight. I do not place the Stratus 1 in the sun on the glare shield, over heating is not good for Li-Ion batteries. Glossy front plate still has protective film on it.
