SNAKE DRILL ATTACHMENT, I Purchased new from ATS (Aircraft Tool Supply) some 15 <> years ago, like one of several we used, in Aircraft Sheet Metal repair I owned. This Snake you see is one that was found in the shop's tool storage container when I retired sold the repair shop. Attachment shows little use as it was stored, not in shops tool bin, see photos. This is a true heavy-duty model tool that was capable of withstanding the constant use in a/c metal work, without constant twisting, or locking up found in some flimsy models we used. The 26 " length was best for controlling the snake drill head and the drill motor in tight confined spaces.
Has a heavy-duty flexible casing and core assembly, was well lubed before storage, the 1/4 X 28 threaded head and input shaft bearings are tight with no slop or play. Shaft turns smoothly. Fits any air or electric drill. Accepts 1/4x28 threaded drill bits and other accessories for close quarter drilling. Overall length 26". Threw in 5 rotary files and a 1/4 X 28 threaded X 5/16" collet.
